When the communists took over the USSR, they destroyed national monuments, changed city and street names and took other steps to destroy reminders of the past. As our country moves to socialim, the government is destroying the traces to our past through the idea of Political Correctness.
They couldn’t just tear down displays or there would be public outrage. Instead, they are subtly achieving their goal through the courts and the red herring of political correctness and separation of church and state.
