TODAY’S APPROACH TO YOUTH WORK
As I read the advertisements that are coming across my desk I can not help but notice that modern youth ministry is nothing more than worldly entertainment. The same type of worldly entertainment that was preached against a generation ago. Now instead of singing “What can wash away my sin? – - – Nothing but the blood of Jesus” we bring in some long hared maggot infested homosexual looking rock and roll singers and call it a Christian concert. Afterwards a “youth speaker” will get up and give a 10-minute devotional out of whatever “version” he is trying to sell so that our kids will feel better about themselves and achieve self-esteem.
Instead of singing spiritual songs around the campfire at our church camps we have worldly styled concerts. Instead of preachers we have “speakers”, and instead of Bible doctrine we have pop psychology. Our Youth conferences are no longer 5 days of preaching, but rather the kids are taken to amusement parks, water parks, zoos, beaches, and other such things during the day and then after they are too tired to do anything but sleep they are brought to the big auditorium where they will sing shallow, meaningless songs that have only 10 words repeated 1,000 times and given a pep talk by some “youth speaker” who refuses to preach against their sin for fear that he may offend someone.
There is no preaching against sin, no encouragement to holy living, no emphasis on doctrine, and no separation from the world.
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not”
- If the King James Bible was the Word of God a generation ago then it is still the Word of God today!
- If TV and Hollywood movies and rock music, and rap music, and country music, and all other types of worldly amusements were sin a generation ago then they are sin today!
- If liquor and tobacco were a sin a generation ago then they are a sin today!
- If mixed bathing was a sin a generation ago then it is a sin today!
- If short shorts and britches and miniskirts were sinful attire a generation ago then they are sinful attire today!
- If fondling and petting were sinful a generation ago then they are sinful today!
- If it was sin a generation ago, if it was modernism a generation ago, if it was worldliness a generation ago, then it is still wicked today!
Psalm 119: 89 says, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” We can re-write the Bible every six months and come out with 120 more “versions”, but God’s Word DOES NOT CHANGE! Therefore we should not change. And neither should we compromise!
Romans 10:14, “And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
I am saved today because a preacher took the Bible, preached against my sin, and fearlessly proclaimed the Gospel. First Corinthians 1:21 says, “it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” If our teenagers are going to be saved then we need to get rid of the “youth speakers” and bring back the preachers.

As a white man, I am afraid of Obama
Wow – Osama Obama dissed his ex-pastor and close friend Jeremiah Wright. After Wright’s BOMBASTIC comments on PBS and at the NAACP (wasn’t he ‘BOMBASTIC?’), Obama has separated himself from the man.
Smart move for Obama – EXCEPT – he has not distanced himself from the hate-mongering, radical racist church he belongs to. Obama’s church is what adheres to what they call “black liberation theology.” Black liberation theology is just a way of covering their anti-white, anti-capitalism, anti-American politics by claiming it is done for Jesus. Scripture does not, repeat, DOES NOT, support political activism.
The Bible says, “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is My kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36)
I do not consider my self racist. I would vote for a black person, if that person was Bill Cosby, Colin Powell, or any conservative, God-fearing, pro-constitution candidate. BUT – as a white person, I am afraid of Barack Hussein Obama. This man goes to a white-bashing, America hating, bitter church. His wife hates America and has publicly said so. His ex-pastor hates whites. His new pastor supports and defends Jeremiah Wright.
America – WAKE-UP! If this man becomes president, he is going to tax white-America (and successful Black America) into poverty. He is going to steal corporations profits and stifle industrial and economic growth. He is going to favor more and more handouts (stealing from the working man to give to the crack addict) to no income blacks. This man is a socialist, and will destroy the America he hates.

NOTICE TO OBAMA: I am not bitter.
Never in my life have I heard a candidate for office insult the people of this country like Obama Osama did last weekend.
I’m sure you know by now that the “secret Muslim” Senator Obama has said that when the economy goes bad, good Americans “cling” to their religion and their guns and their hatred of minorities and law-breaking invaders.
Praise God, I cling to my Jesus in good times and bad. Praise God, my Jesus clings to me in good times and bad. The Lord has promised never to leave me, to stay closer than a brother. I have a God, a saviour, a Lord that I am proud to cling to.
I’m not a gun owner, but most gun owners I know cling to their guns, not because they are bitter, but because they fear what wicked politicians like Obama (whose ex-pastor hates the white people), Bill Clinton (who was in charge when his special lady Janet Reno killed innocent citizens in cold blood in Waco, Texas) and Hillary Clinton who has sworn to steal from the oil companies’ profits, profits owned by their share-holders.
It does seem a bit hypocritical of Obama to call working class America rascist when his church is founded on the race-hating Black Theology instead of the Bible. When Jeremiah Wright can use God’s holy name as a curse word in damning the very country that has provided him the opportunity to have a million dollar plus home in a gated community. Jeremiah Wright hates whites, hates America and baptized Obama’s daughters.
No Obama, I am not bitter, but I will be greatly disappointed if the American sheeple elect an elitist, white-hating, anti-gun, anti-constitution, socialist member of a rascist hate group posing as a church to the highest post in the nation.
Obama, please repent of your elitist (prideful) statements, repent of your association with wicked men, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who did for all that we might be joyful, not bitter, and be saved from our sins. It is my prayer that you will repent and God might save your soul.

Wow, the weather sure has been something. Snow, sun, rain, snow, repeat. Makes one think these global warming guys are real kooks.
Of course, tomorrow is Easter. The day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Son of God.
The resurrection has been called a myth and many stupid attempts have been made to discredit it, but still the fact remains: Jesus Christ rose from the dead. The most well-documented fact in all of history.
Many who have honestly researched the resurrection in an attempt to disprove it have been converted to Christianity.
If you are not saved, if you do not know God and Jesus Christ whom he sent, then today is the day of salvation. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved!

We must secure our bordersbefore we can deal with the issue of how to deal with illegal immigrants already in our country.

*I oppose public funding and entitlements for illegal aliens.
*I oppose a National ID card for Americans. Think of the implications- the same people responsible for the Veterans Administration boondoggle, when a lost laptop resulted in 40 million names going AWOL, now want to hold all our names and personal information for safekeeping?
